Hear So As To Be Heard Feb 24

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. (John 15:7)

Note well that we must hear Jesus speak if we expect Him to hear us speak. If we have no ear for Christ, He will have no ear for us. In proportion as we hear, we shall be heard.

Morover, what is heard must remain, must live in us, and must abide in our character as a force, and a power. We must receive the truths which Jesus taught, the precepts which He issued, and the movements of His Spirit within us; or we shall have no power at the Mercy Seat.

Suppose our Lord’s word to be received and to abide in us, what a boundless field of privilege is opened up to us! We are to have our will in prayer, because we have already surrendered our will to the Lord’s command. Thus are Elijahs trained to handle the keys of heaven and lock or loose the clouds. One such man is worth a thousand professing Christians.

Do we humbly desire to be intercessors for the church and the world and be able to have what we will of the Lord? Then we must bow our ear to the voice of the Well-beloved.

Treasure His words, and carefully obey them. He who would pray effectually, has need to “hearken diligently.”

Comment:  If you go to India or Japan or many other Southeast Asian nations, you can believe whatever you want and if you believe it is true, then it is true.  If you beleive there are 50,000 gods, and believe that is true than everyone will agree with you.

Likewise you are free to believe whatever you want when you leave a church service. What you think and what ceremonies you participate in are your own business. But the huge difference is that Jesus our Savior said

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. (John 15:7)

Name any oher religion. None other has the Lord and Creator of the Universe offering to walk and talk with us. Oh! The psychologists hate it. They want you to believe that if you talk to God you must be crazy and in need of treatement. Worse, you are a potential danger to society should be jailed.

Well, I say to blazes with them and so one day to there they may go! They have done their best efforts to ruin the world economy and allow the world to run rampant and be restored as a one world dictatorship, with a one world religion and a one world economic and banking system, which in my personal opinion expresses the true meaning of The Beast. The Beast is not an animal or a single person nor a single nation. It is a huge political system. Who is like it? Who can defeat it? None!

We have this tremendous privilege to be one in God and God can be one in us. I do not love my family in secret. I pray for them. I make love to my wife beginning with a full body massage. She is like an alter and I pray through her, and then I follow her leading. If she wants to sleep I lie down and we sleep. If she wants more I give her what I know she wants. I began our engagement by expressing this concept that I want her to tell me what she likes and does not like, and I learned that and never forget or violate it.

During that time I am in prayer as I watch my hands massaging. I thank God for our marriage and chilren. I thank God for our home and much more. I invite the Holy Spirit to join with us expressing our love for each other. This is not a commonly known practice but there are many Christians and Jews who do similarly Thanking God for what they have for a home life, in every aspect of it seems natural and normal, just as thanking God that we can breathe comfortably is as normal and natural as eating, drinking water and sleeping. Sex with your married spouse is not a sin. If some Pope or monks said it was a sin to shae love, they and he were a control freaks, and holiness had nothing to do with that concept.

You can’t do that with Budhism. You cannot do it even with Tantra. There are some Tantra practitioners who invite demons into their bed and whether they know it or not, that is what they are doing.  Anyone who makes a deal with the devil and is complicit with the devil is one of the devil’s minions and woe unto her or him at their last hour.

We have this fabulous privilege to be one in and with The Creator of Eternity! Let us always remember and respect that privilege in prayer and supplication.
