We are fortunate to have ladies like Judie Y. Rhed available to care for us in New York City. I’ll explain why.
Most states require 500 hours of study. New York requires 1,000 hours and it is rigorous study. It includes a lot of “learning by doing.” with teachers keeping a close eye on the student as s/he works.
The New York Therapists are different and better.
Prices vary. Judie’s prices are reasonable. You will not get such highest quality care from any medical physician or physical therapist.
Medical doctors have no training or experience in massage. They learn to sell medications. They have no experience seeing patients get well using natural healing means such as massage and herbal care and changes in the patients nutritional regimen.
You should want the best care possible. You seek it, you expect or at least hope for it. Your paying for it and therefore, You deserve it.
Judie and other therapists with whom she works receive many grateful complements, some from women who have gone to Licensed Massage Therapists (MTs) around the US, and some who visited MTs internationally during their vacations.
This lovely clinic was launched with hope and prayers in 2007. Here we are seventeen years later, and the clinic is loved and busy—in a beautiful location!
Time is the luxury that cannot be measured. Rhemedy by Rhed Therapeutic Massage was created to allow ample time to discuss your needs before and after your massage treatment. This allows the ritual of self-time to be nourished.
Benefits are enormous. We are peacefully located on the prettiest block in NYC… with tree-lined sidewalks, Jackson Square, a healthful Integral Yoga Institute, and an organic food store on the junction of West Village, Greenwich Village, and the Meatpacking District.
Our sub-level cozy and comforting space is like coming home without the NYC sound bites. You can grab a smoothie, hang out in our back garden, then rest your day into one of our skilled massage therapist’s hands…
…and then let the flickers of the candle lights allow you to focus inwardly and within your own home of body and breath.

Prices are honest and fit what is reasonable and customary in the local community. Economics may rise and fall. This clinic will adapt and will remain.
