You’ll remember better reading a few useful Patient Success Stories
Writing on: September 19, 2025
After these many years serving painful people, there are too many stories to tell.
Lately in September 2025, a young woman visited me. A chair back had broken while she was leaning into it, and she said she flipped backward off the chair and injured her back in several places. I guessed her age at 21. She was much better after a first visit, and I told her the muscle pains would clear and her spine would continue to correct itself over a few more days. She was much better after that one visit.
She is a smart educated young lady. What is most interesting for you and me is that she did some calling around in Cebu City, and said that the Chiropractors there were too expensive.
She couldn’t afford them. I want to express my view about why Chiropractors are so expensive in a big city, and why I think such policies should change.
At Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa one of the college teachers said, “Some of us will die wearing our boots.” It seems that I must be one of them.
(Patients are welcome to read this. Some of it is for Chiropractors and Massage Therapists who want to learn more of what I’m planning to teach.)
I plan to care for patients until I cannot do it any longer. I love the work and I love helping patients. I think charging so much that patients can’t afford our help is a crime! It works at cross purposes with the reason God put us on this world at this time in history. Our purpose in this life is to learn to love, help others, and enjoy doing it.
I combine Classic Massage with several traditional and newer Chiropractic techniques.
There are more than 100 techniques being taught. One I got into more seriously was rather complicated. It is called Applied Kinesiology. It calls for contacting acupuncture points and rubbing other points. It uses postural analysis and muscle testing and a way to test the nervous system, and test specific muscles comparing them on both sides of your body. You’ll remain dressed through all of this. All of this is done to determine what’s wrong and what your body indicates is needed.
I was interested because Chiropractors have been caring for patients before X-ray systems were available. Many patients and some Chiropractors have been trained to believe they can’t help anyone without having a series of X-rays first. The truth is, shooting x-rays costs very little. They charge a very high price for the service and make a big profit.
With the pictures in hand, they use a protractor and careful viewing; and they measure and draw stress lines and determine what they think the patient needs.
What I found is that one could accidentally move a protractor a half a degree and come up with an incorrect diagnosis!
I was disturbed about this. I wanted to be able to care for anyone, almost anywhere, on a beach in a forest, on a sailboat, at home on the floor, on a bed, on a simple flat examination bench as so many Chiropractors had from 1920 until 1960, when mechanical engineer J. Clay Thompson made his first drop piece table available.
He was working with Dr. Clarence Gonstead, in the 1920s and 1930s. Dr. Gonstead had a degree in civil engineering. Dr. Gonstead saw that the spine handles stresses as does a suspension bridge. Standing, your spine works like a shock absorber. Gonstead wanted to restore the spine’s normal curves. Dr. Thompson wanted a table that made the movement very fast without need for very powerful thrusting.
This is the predominant technique even now. The problem that remains is, they paid no attention to muscle balance.
Kinesiology is the study of muscle action and related mobility. It is also defined as the study of the mechanics of body movements.
If I see someone standing before me and she has a higher hip and higher shoulder on the same side, a foot turned out, a hand turned out, and a slight head tilt, I know her body is showing me what is wrong, by showing what muscles are not working in balance.
From these observations I have a good idea about where to begin to get this patient’s muscles balanced, working in concert with one another, gently adjust the spinal joints, and when the patient stands, he/she is straight, and comfortable again.
Many say, when they stand up after a treatment, they feel lighter and taller. I accomplish this through the combination of Classic Massage, and then as I set my hands in the normally prescribed positions to adjust a spinal vertebra or restore motion to the “hip joints” (the sacroiliac articulations) I am also continuing a wiggling, or rocking motion as if I were massaging. The results have been enormously successful and gratifying.
I want you to realize that all of what I’m saying made a big picture for me. I wanted to be a Natural Healing Practitioner, working at what I thought was an honest price, with no need for high technology equipment, and of course I want to get excellent results right from the first visit. I want the patient impressed that I am competent. I do not require electricity or lighting. I can manage in almost any comfortably warm natural environment.
I wanted to be able to care for patients almost anywhere even in the dark, and I have done all of that on a sailboat, on a beach, in a forest, on the floor of a home, on a picnic table. and so on.
Years ago, the American Chiropractic Association had a website page that stated with their methods a survey proved
- about 75% of patients got better
- 20% had no change
- 5% were worse.
They do not display that page now. They don’t want to admit the failings we have had.
I was not pleased about this! I discovered for myself after a lot of experimentation and comparison, that combining Classic Massage and then adjusting the spine, I got better results than the Applied Kinesiology diagnosis and various treatments. The muscle strength returned to normal without need for all the other complications.
I ceased holding acupuncture points (called acupressure) I ceased rubbing “Neurolymphatic points” and (No Chiropractor will believe this) my survey said that 95% of patients got improvement and 5% were unknown — because I could not reach them by phone, and/or they simply stopped visiting. Maybe they were better, maybe they had moved out of their old location and changed a phone number. I’ll never know.
I never hurt anyone. No one left injured. No one dies from a Chiropractic visit or a massage.
Now I’ll tell you why I said this.
Around the year 1951 Dr. James Parker began teaching his “Parker Success Seminars.” I think he had something to do with selling those expensive Thompson drop piece tables and saw a business opportunity.
Artificial Intelligence informs us: “Parker Seminars began in 1951 with a small gathering of seven attendees in Orlando, Florida, as a way for Dr. James William Parker to provide marketing and management solutions to other chiropractors. It has since grown into a major international chiropractic event, attracting thousands of attendees.”
Yes, all of that from Ai is true, and there are expensive seminars for the way to make your practice successful running all year all over the USA.
At some point I was informed by some students who attended his seminars that Dr. Parker was saying that Chiropractors should earn as much as neurosurgeons. I think this is an Outrageous Statement!
It is outrageous because the comparison is in no way a parallel to Chiropractic. Did Dr. Parker really say that? I don’t know. It’s more rumor than fact.
I have never held a scalpel in a surgical room. I don’t require surgery in a hospital with several team members in a surgical theater. No patient is wheeled into “Intensive Care” and no one dies in a Chiropractor’s office anywhere in the USA. You cannot compare that to brain surgery. There is no honest comparison!
I generally massage muscles attached to spinal vertebra and their attached rib heads. I wiggle and gently rock rib heads and spinal segments into place.
I admit it is physically demanding work for me. At age 75, 5 feet tall and about 120 pounds/(54.5 kilos), I generally hold my daily patient visit total to 7 or 10 patients.
I enjoy the work and I need to do it because the US Dollar is probably going to lose buying power. I need to continue earning a living. I cannot afford to retire on the pension I receive. When local patients make a donation for the work I do, they’re helping me survive.
I can tell many stories about couples who had more money than good sense, and they spent it as if it was water. Now, they’re sorry about their ill-considered behavior. What should have been saved and invested for retirement went to luxuries they did not need, and sometimes did not fit the rest of their life style.
As for me, I don’t expect to get rich helping people in pain. I do this as part of my religious viewpoint, and IF I ever seem wealthy because you see me sailing a small boat, it will have been built with my own hands. Likewise, probably the treatment table(s) will also have been built with my hands.
The Chiropractors who accept and follow the advice of the Parker seminars begin the patient visits with a first consultation, then the next day there is an exam and x-rays, and the third day they give this potential patient a report of findings, and a suggested schedule of visits. And then they drop the bomb as Parker taught them.
They will say, “The charge for all we have done so far is $2000. If you can write me a cheque for $5000, we can begin your treatments today.”
In my view this idea that Chiropractors should charge so much and justify these prices has done years of harm to the profession. Dr. Parker did us no favors!
There are Chiropractors who complain that “Chiropractic utilization is down.” (Terrible English!)
Patient volume has fallen because they are not getting the results they want, and health insurance companies will not pay for more than 12 visits per year. I think the Parker Success has caused a disaster. The American Medical Association wanted Chiropractic to be banned. They lost that court case, but I think Parker is accomplishing what the AMA could not.
I suspect some of the Chiropractors in Cebu City charge high prices because they have a high price for renting an office in a shopping mall. They could find lower priced locations.
We should be helping patients without placing such costly demands on them.
This is especially true where the economy is (or was) not so prosperous as the US has been.
I know a man who had this Parker style experience. Then he met me and was paying a reasonable price. I did not require x-rays or upfront payments, or a calendar of visits.
When he told me what he was asked to pay to “get started” with the Parker Success style practice, I was stunned.
Some patients buy a family plan from these Chiropractors. Every family member comes in at a discount. The Chiropractor sees them for three minutes and does what the x-ray chart said to do. He says, “Thanks a-lot, we’ll see you again next Wednesday,” and he moves on to the next patient.
It is not unusual for these practices to see 100 and more patients per day. I think no one is getting better in practices run with this style.
I see these high charges as immoral. It is not health care it is Money-Care.
Finally, the health insurance companies decided they had had too much of this, and made it more difficult for Chiropractors to be paid. These new policies punish the Chiropractors and their patients.
Some things have changed. Some will not change. All of this thinking style is wrong — in my opinion.
In my office I usually have a chair or two for a relative to sit, watch and listen to my explanations about what I’m doing.
The patients remain dressed, which reduces my operating expenses and their modesty concerns.
With a friend, mother, or husband looking on while I explain what I’m doing and why, everyone feels comfortable that I’m a decent gentleman, and that I know what I’m doing and why.
I see the patient, hear what she wants me to know, I determine what is wrong, and begin doing massage to the muscles related to holding the spine in proper alignment.
Patients always remain dressed. I can feel what is wrong through their clothing.
- Patients are requested to wear something like a cotton t-shirt and soft loose slacks or shorts. They are never asked to disrobe.
- There is no need to cover them with massage oil or powder, drape them with sheets, and then wash a ton of laundry at the end of each day.
- There is almost never a need to use oil or powder during the massage, and no need to keep the treatment room warmer.
All these reasons explain how this style of practice reduces practice expenses, and removes worries about lack of modesty.
We get the job done in reasonable time, and patients get good results often in one or two visits. After that I advise them to call and come again when they feel the need for a check-up.
I do not spend a fortune on advertising. I write advertising and I know it is useful, however a small practice working this way is usually sufficient. Patients tell their friends and the practice builds “naturally.”
I spend about 25 to 30 minutes with each patient, and when they get up and walk around a little while, they feel better and over the next few days they improve more as the swollen tissue around the previously misaligned joints reduces.
Some come whenever they want to, perhaps once each month, and others come more often at first because their case is difficult and possibly because their labors injure them.
Where I work now, the suggested DONATION is 500 Filipino Pesos per visit, which today at this moment equals $8.59 (in US dollars.)
I don’t know if this will earn enough to pay expenses. We’ll test and see how it goes. I can tell you that I have heard of others who started iwth a portable table in an apartment building and make a very good living at it.
As you can quickly calculate, if you run a practice now, seeing 45 patient visits per day, (approximately one patient every 10 minutes, earning a gross income of approximately $135 per Half-hour ) it is possible that you’re earning a gross income of over $500,000 per year. You may be reluctant to experiment with a different technique that would have to charge $135.00 per visit! It is good to know how to do this technique, but most Chiropractors reading this won’t use it for every patient visit.
I am not ashamed that I don’t earn a tremendous amount of money. I think I’m following the example The Christ, Jesus gave to us.
The patient I helped who was unable to stand up told me what she thought was a fair price and I accepted that. Some people who are more prosperous donate more for which I am thankful. Some have less money and donate less and I pray for all of them.
That is my way of thinking. That is the way I want to live my life, and I thank God at the end of each working day for what was accomplished.
In the USA, massage therapists and Chiropractors charge much more because the dollar is more valuable, and the overall cost of living and keeping the clinic operating is much higher.
Every practitioner in his/her location will find an agreeable price. The public will teach them.
That is what “Free Enterprise” is all about and has been since it was first labeled. The US and European colleges generally do not teach the original definition of Free Enterprise and students graduate thinking that Free Enterprise is the same as Fascism. They are completely confused about these word definitions.
At present, patients hand me money and thank me. In future, I hope to rent a small home/office combination and there will be a donation vase. I’ll trust Almighty God about the rest of the payment issue.
I have done this work for friends around Argao for a short while getting started. Everyone is pleased with the work.
In one recent case a mature woman had been in pain for weeks. She had adapted to the pain by walking with such a twisted spine I was amazed she could stand.
I did not have a camera to record the moment and the result when she stood up and walked after that first treatment. An hour later she was at my friend’s café and standing up straight and comfortably again! It’s amazing what can be done with some knowledge, diligent work, and prayer.

Thank you for reading thus far. I hope it proves to be helpful for you as the work has been for many other local patients. There is a bit more to read if you are curious about interesting cases.
Dressing For Success
Slippery synthetic clothing is banned! I need a cloth that will “drag” on your skin. The best things to wear are a cotton or a cotton-poly blend common everyday T-shirt or, in cold weather, a sweatshirt. In the tropics you can wear shorts or sweat slacks or any sort of loose comfortable trousers. Never anything slippery please.
The other rule is universal to all doctors all over the world. We must not get intimately involved with our patients. Smiles are appreciated, but please don’t flirt. Check my hand. I hope to have a wedding ring on it soon.
More Patient Success Stories
When I entered Chiropractic College in early 1974, I thought I was not smart enough to survive the place, and fearing failure, I studied and reviewed obsessively. I survived the first quarter of the year and had good grades. Now I was comfortable with studying and reviewing all the time so I just continued, and I still study and work up new technique ideas to combine massage with spinal adjusting.
One of the optional seminars I took was about “Extremity Adjusting.” Extremities are arms and legs and that included collar bones, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, knees, ankles, and feet, and even the hyoid bone in the throat.
I’ve been doing this successfully since 1975 when we began doing basic work on patients in classes and in the college clinic which cared for students and for public patients who wanted to walk in, and pay a fee so small it was almost a charity service. We were required to see 50 student visits and 100 public patients visits before graduation. A supervisor came in to watch us work, and sometimes coach us. All of that went very well for me and I had a busy practice, seeing more than the required patient visits to complete the graduation requirements.
Today I can look back at working on patients sometimes full-time, other times part-time, over a span of 50-years. There were wonderful successes, and some who came regularly because they felt they needed regular care. There were several wonderful surprises when patients became comfortable and even regained mobility, and were able to return to work.
You can feel confident I’ll be gentle and take good care of you.
Through all those years I never caused any injury or harm to anyone. In the final year I did a telephone survey in my practice in Washington State, near Seattle in the United States.
95% of the patients said they were pleased with my work. No one said they got worse. No one said they stayed the same.
A few simply had moved or stopped coming in because they felt well.
A local patient in Argao, said she called Chiropractors in Cebu City and they were too expensive for her to afford the healthcare. She had been injured in a fall. Our first visit made a big improvement.
Some of us hold to the opinion that you should never deny a patient care because they have no money. Help them anyway, and trust God to take care of your future. That is why I am developing a practice with a donation box or donation vase. So far as I know, there is no law to prevent me from seeing friends and helping them, and no law says they cannot give me a gift or donation.
A friend said the reasonable price in this location is 500 Philippine Pesos, and I thought she was wise enough to know.
I’ve been working at this suggested donation rate since mid-2023 when she introduced me to several kids with various aches and pains of knees, ankles and feet and spinal problems. She was coaching a Foot Ball (soccer) team and that got me back into practice. A little at a time the practice is destined to grow.
I suppose if you visit the Chiropractors in Cebu City, they’ll charge for anything, and everything they can. I don’t know where they went to college for their skills and I don’t have any opinion about their competency.
There are Chiropractors in the United States who have a list of codes from a health insurance company and they check mark each code.
They charge for
- adjusting your neck,
- for adjusting cranial bones,
- for adjusting rib heads,
- for adjusting the sacroiliac joints,
- for adjusting a knee,
- an ankle
- and feet.
I just request a donation for my time, and my time may include all such adjustments and teaching you how to care for yourself too.
Just please remember what I said about honesty. If you cannot come in for your appointment, call and let us know so that other arrangements can be made.
Frozen Shoulder
I have over the past 15 years cleared up several frozen shoulders.
Wheel Chair Patients
I also remember 3 elderly women who were wheelchair ridden because of their low back pains.
Each of these ladies thought they would be trapped in their wheel chair forever, but I got them up and they are doing well since my visits with them.
The Man Who Could Not Eat
One of the most interesting cases was a man age 17, who hurt his mid back carrying heavy bags of animal feed. He was in a lot of pain and could not eat and hold the food down. He was so thin when I saw him, I feared he might die. I had known him and his family for 6 years. Seeing him in this condition was quite a shock.
My first thought was to refer him to the hospital, but then I thought, “The doctors there won’t know how to find the source of this man’s problem. They’ll charge a fortune and he might die of starvation after all. I had to take a chance and do what looked impossible. The situation and location demanded that I work on him, on a thin mattress on a tile floor. This was going to require careful movement and strength to move around on my hands and knees a lot.
After one long, and sometimes laborious and uncomfortable visit we got the mid spine moving into normal position again. We agreed I had done “all I could for today.”
He got up feeling better and we sat in an entry hallway talking about his future plans. He thanked me profusely, and then said, “I’m hungry. Excuse me. I have to eat,” and he proceeded to the kitchen. I had known him and his family for about six years and I was so grateful to God when he was able to feel hungry and eat normally again.
Presently he is in good condition and I hear he is planning to return to his father’s community in Greece!
Dizziness-Vertigo
Lately a woman who even knowing she was lying on her bed, still had the sensation of spinning and falling. This had been going on for some long time; 2 or 3 weeks. Her husband told me about it. I told him I might be able to help. He asked, “Is that possible?” He spoke to her on the phone and then came to my apartment, and picked me up to ride on the back of his motorcycle. We ran to their house.
I found her on her day bed/couch sort of furniture, she felt dizzy. The dog was barking his warnings at me. She was holding her husband’s hands because she felt like she was falling and she was frightened.
I had one long visit to care for her with her husband watching and holding her hands, as I worked. I did some work, then let her stand, rest again a while and worked on her a bit more, two more of these sessions over the span of about an hour. Most of the problem was coming from sublu xations of vertebra at the top of her neck. In this case the massage movements were particularly effective. I was pleased that my combination technique was proving effective.
I did additional massage and adjustments for other compensations in her upper and mid back. That one visit cleared her problem away. She was feeling normal balance and comfort within 10 or 15 minutes after I finished working on her. Even “Protecto-Dog” seemed happier when his mistress was able to walk normally again.
She had been like this for 2 or 3 weeks. I honestly told her husband, if they had gone to a medical doctor, he would have no medicine for this, he would have sent them to an eye, ear, nose, and throat specialist who would have run more tests, and he would have sent them to a brain surgeon for more x-rays and tests.
By that time, she would still be dizzy and all the money he had earned the past two years would be owed to doctors. That’s the truth and I know so because such things have happened in the US.
I had heard similar stories while I was in the college there. It’s not miraculous. You simply probably have never heard that misalignments (properly called subluxations) of the cervical vertebra (Neck vertebra) can affect your nervous system, potentially contributing to issues such as migraines, dizziness, and even eye, and ear problems, and low back trouble, which can lead to digestive system, and reproductive system problems.
After I worked on her she was fine. After a few minutes rest she was walking around the house, made a salad for us to share, and a few days later they took a ferry trip to Bohol Island, and had fun touring and visiting friends. I inquired about her health when they returned and her husband said she was normal and healthy.
If they had taken the medical route including “exploratory surgery” of that woman’s brain, I doubt she would ever be happy, healthy, and normal again!
There have often been incidents, which to me were expected but to patients seemed miraculous. I just thank God and keep on working.
The Incurable Hip Pain
There was a boy with hip pain that could not be cured. He was cured by me and it was simple. I don’t call that a miracle. I blame the other man’s misdiagnosis. that man, now long gone, was Grant Burchem. He made several big mistakes on his x-ray analysis. My experiences in his clinic taught me, my only interest in x-rays is to find bone disease, which is rare.
Endless Headaches
Dr. Burchem made a mistake with a woman about age 50. She came in to see me for a change of doctor, hoping perhaps I could help her.
In the first visit taking a case history report, she mentioned calmly that she had headaches and said nothing more. At the second visit I was testing a muscle and suddenly the woman said, “I don’t have those headaches no more.”
I answered, “That’s good news, breath in please and hold that muscle strength again.”
….and she said, “Wait, wait. You don’t understand. I’ve had those headaches for the past 20-years every night when I went to bed, and now they’re gone!”
I looked into her eyes and said, “You never told me it was that severe. 20-years? Really?”
So, as it turned out, what I was doing beginning with first experiments in the college clinic, mixing massage with spinal adjustments, was the biggest advance in techniques I had seen or heard about. It was efficient and effective, and I did not require x-rays unless I thought there were signs of bone disease or broken bones. Those conditions are quite rare.
In a seminar a famous teacher, Dr. Russel Eirhardt, said, “You might see bone cancer once in 10,000 cases.”
Usually before that event, the patient has called an orthopedic surgeon and you would not have seen the patient.” Dr. Eirhardt also told us that Chiropractic for a cancer patient will not cure them, but will bring comfort and some pain relief. There are stories, (called anecdotal evidence) that some have had a remission of cancer after Chiropractic adjustments but we have no surveys to prove any details about any of those claims.
Pain of Cancer eased with this treatment.
I did have an experience with an elderly Chinese man, the father of an owner of a Chinese restaurant. He was already too thin and looking like his end days had arrived. But I did help him have more comfort before he was thankful to slip away into a peaceful rest and leave his elderly body behind.
In college, I had been visiting various “groups” or “clubs” learning, surveying what they were doing. Each club was following one doctor or another and the particular technique he had developed. I was sampling, looking to find what seemed right for me. What I saw was, ALL those techniques ignored muscle balance.
Muscle balance had been discussed years earlier, in an article which was published around the year 1950. Everyone ignored it. Various doctors were working on more solutions related to angles of adjusting and geometry of the bone architecture. Some taught different hand contacts and movements. One or two had new instruments they were promoting. I’m sorry to differ with them.
Many times, I heard people say, “Ligaments hold bones together.” That is true. The statement is NOT, ‘Ligaments hold bones in correct alignment.’
Muscles hold joints in proper position. Ligaments only hold the joint together, but cannot retain their position and correct alignment.
If the muscles are not balanced, the joint goes out of its proper position and the patient experiences weakness and pain.
I have had personal experiences when I had such pain over a femur head (top of your leg at the hip) I wondered if I would need hip surgery. I began massaging the offending related muscles and doing some self-adjusting of my neck. I was less painful. I did the same work again 2 or 3 times over the next two or three days and the pain was clearing up. It has been more than a year since that experience and I have no further pain.
I know very well if I had gone to an orthopedic surgeon he would have asked a few standard listed questions. More than likely, he would have told me I needed surgery, and that would have ended my “normal life” and any hope for a happy, healthy romance, or continuing in practice caring for patients, or sports, or anything else!
As I have said, someone wrote ‘when an old person dies it’s like losing a library.’ It would be a crime for me to go to my grave taking my “secrets” with me. They are not intended to be secrets.
Young Man Suddenly Could Not Perform In Bed
There is a bit more about this in the PDF. The summary of the story: He had a 5th Lumbar vertebra subluxation It was difficult to find because the muscle was thick and the spinus process on the back of the vertebra was rather small. Once I found it, I did the usual adjustment prescribed. I rolled him onto his side and adjusted him. The next time I saw him he said that I cured that problem. Again….if he had gone to a urologist I’m sure there would be no help from there and he might have consulted more doctors at vast expense. It’s good he was visiting me.

Patient Success Stories
Writing on: September 18, 2025
I can tell you that I have heard of others who started with a portable table in an apartment building and make a very good living at it.
I am not ashamed that I do not earn a tremendous amount of money.
I did it in the US for 26 years.
Everyone has been pleased with the work.

Smiles are appreciated.
Today I can look back at working on patients sometimes full-time, other times part-time, over a span of 50-years (from age 25 until now age 75).
I don’t know where The Chiropractors in Cebu City studied or what they charge. I have no opinion about their competency.
There are Chiropractors in the United States who have a list of codes from a health insurance company and they check mark each code.
They charge for
- adjusting your neck,
- for adjusting cranial bones,
- for adjusting rib heads,
- for adjusting the sacroiliac joints,
- for adjusting a knee,
- an ankle
- and feet.
I only request a donation for my time, and my time may include all such adjustments and teaching you how to care for yourself too.
Just please remember what I said about honesty. If you cannot come in for your appointment, call and let us know so that other arrangements can be made.
If the muscles are not balanced, the joint goes out of its proper position and the patient experiences muscle weakness and pain.
I Want To Teach
I intend to teach this material HERE in The Philippines, preferably in Argao and Cebu City. Most of that material is written. I need a bit more time to release it to be available online in e-book format and then I can teach in the city or in Argao to a group of at least 10 doctors and or massage therapists each time we meet.
There are a few Chiropractors who insist they “don’t do massage” and won’t learn it. They are free to do as they choose.
If they don’t want to learn they are hurting their patients and damaging their practice. If the only people interested in what I teach are massage therapists, I’ll happily teach them. They will get very good results and the older Chiropractors can growl about it. I care about patients in pain! The practitioner will earn a living with or without my techniques.
What I teach is a lower patient volume, higher care quality technique, with the end goal of getting patients well.
With this specialty you can command whatever price you think is fair and if your reputation precedes you, I’m sure you’ll have many patients.
In all the cases I’ve mentioned, I confidently tell you, if the patient had gone to the medical doctor they would have gone from doctor to doctor and spent a fortune trying every specialist who had no idea what the cause was and what to do.
Medical doctors are taught to sell medicines. That’s how they earn their living, and that is why the medical colleges are funded by big pharmaceutical firms. These firms fund the colleges with the understanding that the colleges teach to use the medications the funding firms produce and sell. Most Americans don’t know anything about this.
Your medical doctor probably has no understanding about herbal medicines or massage or restoring the spine to normal positioning.
Legal Disclaimer
I am not telling you how to cure any disease or condition. I do not claim to cure any disease. I’m not saying anyone can cure any named illness. I make no claims that I have a miraculous cure for any disease.
What we theorize is that pressure caused by spinal malalignments (properly called subluxations) can and is proven to cause a reduction of normal nerve root operation. Organs and glands may be affected. If the spinal subluxations are restored to proper position, the pressure and swelling around the nerve root will reduce, the nerve will work properly again, and the organs and glands will do their job.
If my sister asked me, “Can Chiropractic help my condition?” I would tell her; it probably will in many cases. It’s always better to begin with natural healing, including nutritional advice and herbal medicines.
If those attempts do not help, ask an herbalist or Naturopathic doctor for advice. The next step is more radical, like pharmaceutical medicines. The most radical healing method of all is surgery. We have enough experience to say that if a patient has heart disease, heart surgery might be the best answer. But it is often wise to try nutrition and herbal medicines.
We must remember to look for the cause of the problem. If the patient has heart disease, it may be caused by parasites. Use herbal medicine or pharmaceutical medicines to kill and flush all the parasites out, and then see if the patient’s heart shows improving performance. Particularly living here in the tropics, that is a good idea.
Applying natural healing methods including Chiropractic care often leads to a beneficial effect. The symptoms of pain or illness almost always clear up. The patient may declare that the Chiropractor cured him. The Medical Doctor may claim this was an inexplicable spontaneous remission.
Sometimes the diagnosis is wrong, or the practitioner is not looking far enough back to find the cause.
There is a famous case about a man, a doctor I think in Kansas, (Mid West USA) who was terribly sick and the doctors and hospital lab were searching for a virus or bacteria but could find nothing.
His wife who was also a doctor specialist in cancer was discussing all of this with his other doctors. No one knew that she and her husband had separated. Her husband thought that was irrelevant and never mentioned it.
Finally, someone suggested the man was being poisoned. No one until then suspected that his wife was poisoning him. Indeed, she was, and around the same time that this poisoning came to light his wife also burned their home to the ground with her children in it!
She was arrested, tried in court before a jury of her peers, and sentenced to prison for murder and attempted murder.
The doctors who had been looking for a viral or bacterial cause of the illness realized they had been making a terrible mistake. They were so focused on finding “a germ” that could cause his digestive system so much trouble, they never thought that somehow, he was being poisoned.
Several times we was admitted to the hospital, ate hospital food and he got better, went home and soon he was admitted sick again. And nobody thought of poisoning? When all logical reasons fail, you must look for illogical or unexpected reasons.
What I’ve been explaining is what I would recommend to a family member or a close friend. I start with natural healing first, in the form of following good nutritional advice, perhaps using the advice of a Naturopath or Herbalist, get some exercise, sip some clear water through the day, and avoid drinking a lot of coffee and tea that contain caffeine.
You can ask me more about herbal remedies. I study this for my own interest and want to go more deeply into it, if God allows me more time for such a study.
If you have a disease or condition that doesn’t heal, you should consult a licensed healer or medical physician. If you are dissatisfied with his/her diagnosis and treatment plan, call a different physician for a second opinion, or call a Chiropractor or Naturopathic doctor, or a licensed herbalist to see if he/she can help you.
Many thanks again for reading. I hope all of this will prove helpful for you for the rest of your life.
