Boy Genius Seeks To Prove Stephen Hawking wrong
William Maillis graduated high school when he was just 9-years-old.
Now that he’s 11 he’s poking holes in the theory of one of science’s most renowned astrophysicists.
How and when did life in the universe begin?
The existence of God, the creation of life, and the universe are topics that we avoid because they can lead to debate.
Scientists argue that God simply does not exist, and they can “prove” it through scientific facts.
But have they ever proved it?

Stephen Hawking, for example, is one of the firm believers that God is not real.
Stephen Hawking theorized:
“Before we understood science, it was natural to believe that God created the universe, but now, science offers a more convincing explanation. What I meant by ‘we would know the mind of God’ is we would know everything that God would know if there was a God, but there isn’t. I’m an atheist.”
Most people would disagree with this statement.
Many of us do believe that God is real and did create the universe and all life. We generally speaking, believe that God has created life and has been guiding us until this moment.
One 11-year-old boy explains why he believes there is, indeed, an Almighty God.
It is difficult to disprove his explanation.
William Maillis claims that Hawking’s beliefs are wrong, and he is ready to prove it.
Maillis is not your typical 11-year-old boy. He is a genius.
This is a title given to him by Joanne Ruthsatz, an Ohio State University psychologist.
Graduation came early.
At the tender age of 9, he graduated from high school. At age five, he could read and comprehend English so well that he read, understood, and finished a study of an entire 209-page geometry textbook “in just one night.”
How many hours are we considering here? The article author doesn’t tell. Did he stay awake from sunset to sunrise, or did he study from after dinner at 7 until bedtime at 9 or 10? We don’t know.
His faith is firm about his knowledge and his beliefs because he’s also a son of a preacher.
According to young William Maillis:
“We know the universe has an age, right? 13.8 billion years. So, 13.8 billion years ago, the entire universe was reduced to a singularity, a particle smaller than a quark,” he posits.
Then Maillis flips the script:
“However, if gravity is always working, i.e.: if you jumped off this building, you’re not going to fall 15 seconds later, you’re going to fall immediately, so, if gravity was always working, and the singularity was always there […] then the universe should have no age, it should be infinitely old. But it’s not, it’s 13.8 billion years old.
(Editor) Recent discoveries indicate the universe might be much older. This editor prefers to consider that “In the beginning” defines the beginning of the story. Not the beginning of the universe. In any event, we brilliant ones can’t explain where all of the minerals that make up the universe came from. What is the source of all of that energy and all of those molecules? What is the source of the first hydrogen ion? We brilliant ones still have no explanation.
We would like to believe that “the evolutionary thesis” is a theory. No, it is not a theory. It is not even a hypothesis. It is a fantasy. We cannot prove that molecules or energy “evolved” and can’t prove that our first grand, grand, grand, grand Mama was a lemur that dropped out of a tree. We can’t even find evolutionary layers to prove that a simple jellyfish became a fish that finally walked on land. Yet we persist with this foolish argument that God is a myth and the Bible is nonsense.
Then William explains the first obvious law of physics.
“And something can’t come from nothing, because it would have to exist in order to cause itself to exist, which is illogical. So, therefore, something other must have created the singularity, and that something other we observe as God.”
The young boy argues that there is a very powerful force behind the creation of the universe.
That for something to exist, like what the scientists are saying, there is still someone responsible for designing and creating it, and that’s none other than God himself.
Maillis’ theory is, in fact, very promising, but he still wants to be prepared to finally prove this to the world.
He has a plan of action for doing that. Young Mr. Maillis plans to be an astrophysicist.
“I want to be an astrophysicist so that I can prove to the scientific world that God does exist,” he shared in an interview with HCHCMedia.
(Editor) If anyone can do that, William Maillis might convince politicos to maintain the peace. Both dreams seem to be a bit far from our grasp.
According to his father, Peter Maillis, his son is just like any other kid his age.

The Editor chimes in.
In the comments related to this article, I am reading a lot of relatively intelligent people trying to prove to themselves that the physical universe came from Nothing.
The first law of physics is that you can’t get something from nothing. They conveniently ignore this.
Bible prophecy is coming true before our eyes, and these brilliant people can’t read the Bible and understand it. If they can’t understand it, they reply, “it’s not true. It’s just a lot of nonsense written by bearded old men.”
I do not believe that Hawking believed God doesn’t exist. I think Hawking said, “The universe began spontaneously,” because he was saying what the top officials at Oxford University wanted to hear.
Meantime, many theoretical physicists are saying Hawking’s theory is incorrect, and several astronomers have looked at data coming from our most modern orbiting telescopes in wonder and admit they know a lot less than they thought they knew.
I would prefer to debate whether The Southern Baptist view of “Hell” as eternal torment is true or is mistranslated and misunderstood.
You can’t do that in English. It is only understandable if you understand ancient Hebrew and Aramaic.
If the Baptists are right, most of us are heading for a LOT of trouble. If the annihilation theory is right, then those who won’t follow Almighty God will be “deleted” (or annihilated), and that will be the end of their punishment.
I prefer to follow THE WAY because we have at least 4,000 years of experience which indicates THE WAY of Jesus is the best path and the wisdom it teaches is right. THE WAY is what was taught to Jesus as he grew up. He grew up in a monastic community in the foothills of Mt. Carmel. This is where Joseph and Mary met and married.
When their time working in Bethlehem came to an end and King Herod had died, they returned to their community, which was nameless.
The people there called themselves Nazarites and as their numbers grew and they became better known, their “territory” was called the area of the Nazarites, or Nazareth. AI. Says that Jesus is described in the New Testament as having grown up in Nazareth, a village in the region of Galilee.
Jesus/Yashuah spoke Hebrew and Aramaic, and he proved to be remarkably wise. He tells us where the story begins. He does not tell us how long ago the the universe had its origin.
Some astronomers are telling us they see stars so old one can extrapolate and come to a conclusion that these earliest stars formed some 40 billion years ago.
Now we infinitely brilliant ones, want to convince ourselves that we are wiser than the designer of all the life forms that suddenly appeared during the Cambrian Explosion. We conveniently ignore this because we are still like foolish children who insist they must win their argument at any cost.
I think that all of those who scoff about God are ridiculous, and one day they’ll realize they insulted Almighty God one time too many, and now they will be in some way punished for it.
I wish them leniency, but I can’t guarantee any such thing.
I can only say that I’m assured by the Bible which some think is nonsense, that they had better change their thinking and wrap their infinitely brilliant intellect around the idea that only God can win this argument.
God IS not a myth; He is real. The Bible is not nonsense. It tells the truth, even though we don’t understand it. It continues to prove itself true.
Accept the simple explanation Jesus taught us with the expectation that all the details of it will be made plain to us in due time.
Determine that you will learn God’s Way and keep at least The Ten Commandments. Seek to become a subject of Jesus, the Savior and the King of the Physical Universe (and much more.) This will bring you eternal life as one of his children. He will raise you as his own, and in time you will be like Him.
O Ye God-Scoffers; We have received warnings, confused as they may seem to be. Following your childish logic will take you to a second death, or eternal separation from God, and/or perhaps much worse misery than you have ever imagined.
This leaves you with a final question. If you are right and I am a fool for following The 10 Commandments, the worst that can happen to me is that I’ll die and know nothing more forever. That is also what you will get if you God-Scoffers are right.
But if The Southern Baptists are right, then I get an eternal happy and interesting life, and I am occupied with valuable work that I like doing, and I get the satisfaction of the accomplishments.
Simultaneously you get eternal misery.
Which would you prefer?
