About New York City Area Shopper Magazine

I want to thank you for looking at this page. I’m following professional recommendations for what should be here. I hope it will fulfill your needs, but it can be changed and improved and I’ll be happy to receive your notes and suggestions.

Our contact options will expand with time. I’ll give you a link to a Contact Us page at the bottom of this page and you may have noticed it is also in the upper right corner.

Why We Are Here: This magazine is intended to bring together the elements that give shoppers and browsers an opportunity to relax, enjoy their time reading, relaxing, and thinking.

The idea I (your Editor) am working on is to bring to you and our many neighboring readers the beauty of Fashion, Travel, and our Natural Environment.

That’s  only the beginning. It’s pleasant, and timed with the seasons, including pretty photos and interesting articles, but there’s a more serious and weighty reason.

After the problems on the year 2020, and since then while the present federal government does some strange economic maneuvers, we want to do all we can to help shoppers find what they want efficiently, and help merchants and service providers speak to those who want to get to the point of their shopping.

Shop ‘til you drop is being replaced with “Find what you want efficiently and economically. Avoid wasting time and gas driving all over to find what you need.”

I have noticed a very important element in the small business world. I learned something of how small business operates from my parents and their small business. I got interested in sales work and particularly advertising and marketing from age 15. What I realized was that many advertising media, newspapers, radio, television, and now big names on the Internet, charge too much, provide too little, are focused on growing to be huge, and having a net worth in the Billions. It’s a bit obscene, and completely off the correct focus.

The small business starter is prevented from getting a good start because the cost of advertising is prohibitively high. He and She are locked out of the business world almost immediately. This does nothing good for the advertising media, for the small business starter and harms the shopping public.

This online magazine (E-zine) is clean, fresh, always bright and new looking, never ruined in rain or snow, can be changed instantly for seasonal sales or when prices must be altered, and offers many alternative sizes to suit the price and need of every small merchant or service provider.

It benefits everyone it “touches,” and can be done at reasonable prices. The single woman or man business providing advice or a service can afford what I’m doing, and if necessary, I will work out some way to make his/her start affordable SO THAT we can get their important messages to you at the right time and place when you need them with the information you need to shop efficiently and economically.

That should include a ferry to Fire Island or Bridgeport, or a lower cost very relaxing and enjoyable time for the family or a couple in love enjoying one of the many State Parks, Rivers and Mountain Resorts.

I’m happy to help you have that information and help merchants everywhere restore their lives after all the troubles we have faced.

Ag Molde
Ag Molde

<Mr. Ag Molde This is why my technician,, and I look forward to working on this magazine every day. Ag is very intelligent and industrious, well educated, and one of the most personable, likable men I’ve ever met. He’s a busy man raising a family, and making the Internet a better cyber-universe in which to browse.

Most advertising agencies and media treat advertising clients like they’re of no importance. They have your money and now they’re done with you. We know our clients need to be encouraged, helped along, offered new marketing ideas, and we must change their advertisements when it’s time for a price change or time to replace discontinued items with newer ones or those that fit the changing weather and seasons.

<Steve Newdell: And then there is myself, lighting a fire under a pot of hot chili stew as usual. This stew is the magazine that I fully expect can improve lives. I am the founder, publisher and editor. I write articles, and write advertising for clients who want the help. I was raised in Bayport, New York on the Long Island south shore. did a lot of study and work in advertising in Boston, and Seattle, and later finished more study to provide healthcare.  (I’m a Massage Therapist and Chiropractor with specialty studies in Nervous System Physiology and Orthopedics, [now ahem “retired.”] I only work 12-hours per day and 6-days per week.)

You’ll find more information about me here and there if you really want it. see this. It opens in a separate tab so you won’t get lost. Dr. Newdell’s Proof of Qualifications/Credentials

I make simple web pages and the more complex ones are transmitted to Ag. He begins with my simple initial layout and makes of them what he thinks will look best. We both look at the graphics art work other artists produce and get a feeling for what will do well. We sincerely hope you like and enjoy what you see.

What this page lacks:  We are relatively new. No one is writing about us yet. We’re working toward a time when a few in our industry tell us we’re doing an honest good job. Mostly I want advertisers to tell us, in all honestly, that we’re improving their business and their lives!

We Don’t “Work for,” We “work with.”  Today’s advertisers want to cooperate and collaborate with their advertisement producers. We welcome their input and do our best to produce advertising that pleases everyone and actually encourages customers to read, call, and walk in, or in some way place orders.

Contact Us:    There are several options for paying advertisers. I want for us to be reached most efficiently. We are developing a ticketing system, We can also be reached in email.

That’s not all. I have plans for doing better, communicating more, producing more beautiful and informative pages of ads and articles, and helping new customers sample the magazine and become return readers.

The Magazine is FREE for everyone to read and enjoy. If you see an encouragement to “Subscribe” that does not mean we are asking for money. We simply want your permission to stay in touch.
